Rayman raving rabbids tv party wii3/10/2023 I had been using a non-Nintendo Nunchuk for my game, and when I attached my regular 'ol Nintendo-brand Nunchuk, everything worked like clockwork. Doing each of the seven unlocked songs twice gives me about an hour workout, and it not only gets me sweating and moving (when set to "Expert" difficulty and done on my balance board), but it's GREAT fun, and truly doesn't feel like working out.I'd posted a pretty lengthy comment in a forum on my issues with getting this game to recognize my WiiMote even in single player mode (others have mentioned WiiMote signal reception issues in Multiplayer mode), but after Ubisoft Tech Support provided no solution, and after contacting Nintendo Customer Support via telephone, it seems that I finally happened upon a solution to MY reception issues, at least, while the tech was still working on other fixes. I've actually created a profile solely for my workouts with this, and have nothing but the "Dances With Dweebs" mini-games unlocked in it. I've bought every "workout" game made for the Wii, and plenty of the other well-known and much-discussed games made for it, and this, hands down, is one of my favorites. If you are the right audience, you will find this game just challenging enough to have fun and enjoy a few laughs and surprises along the way. Her dad and I even had fun joining in a few times and did well enough to avoid total frustration - and for me, that's no easy feat! For that alone it deserves high marks it can be so difficult to find a game where all ages and skill levels can enjoy it right out of the box.I'd recommend this game highly to family and friends who are looking for something different and entertaining to do with their WII and get a little bit of exercise along the way, but NOT to serious gamers seeking extreme challenges that require hours of play to figure out and conquer. She enjoyed the music selections in the dance segments and got a kick out of shooting chickens and riding the slalom on her rump using the balance board. It kept our college-aged daughter entertained over many hour-long sessions of play, and there's still more for her to do. If, however, you have a sense of humor and are in a family or party setting with mixed casual gamers and novices, you will find this an entertaining ice breaker that will get everyone up and moving. We were happy to have this game at our house over the holidays. ![]() You will complete all levels in this game in one afternoon and be terribly disappointed. If you are a serious gamer looking for a challenge, move on. Fun for kids, but equally enchanting to this 30-year-old. It really does add another great element to an already fantastic game. This would get more than five stars if I had them to give. ![]() So - when I finally caved in to my heart's desires and bought a wii, I had to order this game for myself and my eleven year old daughter.I knew the game was great fun - there are tons of different mini-games - this is fun on your own, but even more so if you can play it in "party" mode - and if you've got a balance board - boy oh boy are you in luck! I've only played a few of the games so far - but in one short "party" game last night, we had to do one part where you sit on the balance board and steer by leaning to the left and right - and another where you sit in a chair, and put your feet on the balance board to control the brake and gas. More than 50 mini-games are available across seven channels, from Trash TV and Extreme Sports to Macho TV and Cult Cinema.First - let me say it - I love love love this game! I tried it at a friend's house months ago, and became quite smitten with those rascally rabbids. Four players can compete simultaneously, and up to eight are supported in a special turn-based mode. ![]() Other activities range from a Tetris-variant, where the Wii Remote is used to bend Rabbids into shapes, and a dancing rhythm game that involves following onscreen cues to songs like "ABC," "Jungle Boogie," and "Ladies Night." Also included are first-person shooting stages inspired by the film, Night of the Living Dead. Those without a Wii Balance Board won't have to miss out, as the accessory is optional. Players will sit on the board to race on a snow-capped mountain, stand on it to mimic exercise poses, go surfing in space, and more. New to this installment is support for the Wii Balance Board in addition to the system's standard motion-driven controls. Once again Wii owners will partake in themed activities that poke fun at television, movies, and other aspects of pop culture. Ubisoft's dim-witted, unhinged rabbits are back for more madcap mini-game merriment in Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV Party.
